TARGET | Shopping Tips & Fave Brands
INTRO
Walking into a Target store is like stepping into my personal wonderland. A fully stocked Target is decked out with clothes that pop, accessories that complete my outfits perfectly, the only workout gear that has given me motivation to workout, and home decor that’s a straight-up Pinterest dream, but affordable. Before I jump into all my fave gorgeous brands, I want to share a couple of tips.
Bullseye Playground | The Answer for Many Things
If you’re not familiar with the Bullseye's Playground section, definitely keep reading. It’s the area right at the entrance of the store with tons of great products that are changed seasonally and often! One day, you might find adorable seasonally-themed home decor to add that is super on trend. On another, you may stumble upon quirky craft kits that unleash your inner artist, sometimes they’re just basics you need and don’t have to overthink. I LOVE this section, so much of of my decor/basics is from here. Everything is either $1, $3 or $5.
Target Sales | A Nice BONUS
Since Target is affordable compared to all the other bougie brands I love, a discount isn’t necessary to keep my wallet from hurting.. BUT it doesn’t hurt! Every so often, Target has a 30% off sale that is applicable to almost all the items I have been eying throughout the season. I usually use the sale to grab last minute items I didn’t pull the trigger initially. I’ve been trying to figure out the pattern of sales and what I have is they always have one for each major holiday, as most stores do, and I can’t really put a pattern on the other times.. Maybe you can help me? However, they are having their fourth of July sale now, ending on July 4th.
Target App | The Real MVP
This little gem of an app is definitely a game changer and I’ve loved using it while shopping and seeing serious user improvements and features added throughout the years. It's user-friendly, and intuitive, and gives me instant access to all my favorite Target finds at my fingertips, making it easy to find products you are looking for around town if your store is sold out.
Starbucks Integration - One of the most amazing features I have to mention and applaud the creative genius behind, is the new Starbucks drink delivery with my Target pick-up order!!! Yes, that’s right. If you place a pickup order at Target, you can also add in your favorite Starbucks drink to accompany your Target items IF you place your order before you arrive. The app does use location services to ensure enough time to make the experience doable for all parties. Check it out for yourself!
BRANDS
Poppi
One of the newer brands to grace the Target aisles that I have fallen in love with is Poppi. It's a prebiotic soda that's not just fun and refreshing but also promotes good gut health. It only has 5 grams of sugar and 20 calories per can, so you’re not throwing your health in the trash for a soda! I absolutely love the fun branding and sassy marketing that exudes confidence. Some of my favorite flavors are Strawberry Lemon, Orange, and Raspberry Rose! Watch my reel to see my happiness when I FINALLY found a 12-pack! 😂
Hearth & Hand with Magnolia
When this brand entered the chat, I would head directly up the escalators and look at every single item in their beautifully curated section. This is my go-to brand for anything home decor related at Target. It's an exclusive collaboration between Target and Magnolia, a home and lifestyle brand by the beloved Chip & Joanna Gaines. The pieces have a farmhouse vibe with a modern twist, and give off a sense of warmth and comfort but in a beautiful aesthetic. They use black opaque metals frequently which I think really give the brand an elevated & polished look. I’ve always thought Joanna is such a BOSS! Love this for her!
JoyLab & All in Motion
JoyLab & All in Motion is Target's answer to stylish activewear that doesn't compromise on functionality. The clothes are perfect for a workout session and stylish enough for a coffee run afterward. All in Motion, launched by Target in 2020, has been my companion in countless workouts. I basically started working out because of these brands LOLz.
Stars Above
This brand is the epitome of all things cozy and loungey. Sold exclusively at Target, Stars Above is famous for its super comfy pajamas, they sell them in cute special sets for the holidays, but my favorite are their light sweatsuits. The moment I slip into them, my comfort level goes to 1000x!
A New Day
With this brand, everyday can really be a fashion show! A New Day is a women's apparel and accessories brand that has really impressed me. Launched in 2017, its modern classic aesthetic is a perfect fit for any occasion. Whether it's a business meeting or a night out, A New Day has me covered with beautiful, high-quality dresses that turn heads wherever I go. If you were wondering where I got my hot pink dress, it’s probably A New Day!
I do have one problem with this brand… I see lots of extended sizes becoming available in store and online, and I think that’s amazing. However, the smallest size I can find in-store is size 2.. Which is honestly more like a size ¾ once I try it on.. Can we get some more size inclusion for smaller ladies as well? Thanks love you, bye!
